Since 2 years you can visit the Ju/Hoansi Living Museum on the Omandumba West farm - due to the increasing number of visitors open throughout the whole year. The museum has developed into a very attractive activity in the Erongo mountains.
The Living Museum gives visitors an interesting insight into their traditional culture and the original way of San living.
It is an educational institute - a combination of school and museum - where guests may interact in the activities as the Ju/Hoansi show their skills in arrow making and arrow shooting, learn how to make fire, jewellery and traditional medicine.
Visitors may join them on a hunting or gathering trip and experience their songs and tribal dances. It will be a day to remember!
The income of the museum and the money of the souvenir sale is used for school purposes, to buy clothing, blankets etc.
